Abstract

Adaptation to technological change often occurs slowly, and it is worth reflecting on what the near future of the labor market will look like, addressing the issue of human–machine substitution in light of the fact that development and innovation—intrinsic to human nature—are inevitable processes. Rather than resisting or fearing them, they should be guided rationally, abandoning the traditional way of understanding work.
