Abstract
This editorial argues that every major technological revolution requires a parallel transformation of social and organizational structures—yet the Fourth Industrial Revolution has not been matched by adequate change in labor, education, and institutional models. Highlighting growing misalignments intensified by the COVID-19 crisis, it calls for anticipatory rather than reactive adaptation. Futures studies must integrate foresight methodologies with creativity and imagination to redesign organizations for the challenges of the twenty-first century. Bridging megatrends, cultural shifts, and everyday governance, the goal is to move from futures thinking to concrete futures making.
