Abstract
The article explores the evolution of the concept of "smart holidays" from the 1970s to the present day, from a snobbish approach to travel to the low-cost and virtual options offered by the internet. It also reflects on modern applications of science fiction concepts such as miniaturization, showing how the digital world influences our perception and interaction with the physical world.
