Abstract
“The Kessler Syndrome” explores a near-future world where space debris poses existential hazards, shaping the lives of orbital cleanup workers like Roberto. Through immersive neuro-interfaces, he navigates orbital junk, geopolitical conflicts, and personal memories, revealing a society trapped between environmental collapse, militarized space, and exploitative labor. The narrative intertwines high-tech surveillance, covert operations, and human vulnerability, reflecting on the cost of shortcuts, both cosmic and moral.
