Abstract
The "Design the Future" project by Space Renaissance Italy aims to stimulate Italian investments in the design and technological development of Space Tourism, with the goal of creating national technical, scientific, and operational capabilities. The Hyplane project, coordinated by the "Federico II" University of Naples, focuses on studying a small hypersonic aircraft, akin to a business jet, with the idea of demonstrating that the use of aeronautical and space technologies can facilitate the evolution towards more economical and reusable intercontinental transport systems and space access.
