Abstract
In the early 1930s, John Maynard Keynes wrote a short essay titled "Economic Possibilities for our Grandchildren." Within a few pages, Keynes made a series of bold and fascinating predictions about the social life and economic conditions of the next hundred years, almost giving the impression of challenging future generations to test his forecasts.
