Abstract

This essay analyzes social change through the lens of technological determinism, tracing the shift from classical sociological theories to the impact of modern media. Building on the work of Innis and McLuhan, the author argues that Internet-driven technologies have birthed a "Society 2.0," characterized by a fundamental redesign of human interaction. The text specifically explores how this digital revolution has reshaped secondary socialization, shifting influence from traditional institutions like schools to the web, thereby transforming behavioral, artistic, and linguistic paradigms in the contemporary era.
