Abstract
The search for anti-aging treatments has been hindered, in past decades, by the widespread idea among gerontologists that "aging is not a disease." If we start from overturning this assumption, it becomes possible instead to identify solutions to treat the natural processes of physical decline: this is the goal of Aubrey de Grey's SENS Foundation.
