Abstract
Why are countries like China, which still have the competitive advantage of a cheaper workforce, the ones investing the most in automation today? Probably because humans are not as reliable as machines. Technological unemployment is a foreseeable collateral damage that needs to be managed. The good news is that we have a few years to reflect and find solutions (or other placements).
