Abstract
Today, computer-based technologies span from communication to bioengineering, with a cosmogonic scope akin to that of magic and traditional religion, thus prompting new forms of re-enchantment. The possibility of a new spiritual dimension, with technology at its core, arises from the 'return of the invisible,' the immateriality traditionally seen as a metaphor and image of the divine. With digitalization, humans can also manipulate the invisible: technopagans seek a new communion with nature, while transhumanists aim to surpass it.
