In just thirty years, Japan and subsequently the four Asian Tigers—Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore, and Hong Kong—managed to increase their income by up to eight times the original value through moderate export-led growth policies and strategies focused on education, innovation, and industrial investments, coupled with balanced income distribution and social development, which led to the label of the "Asian miracle."
