Abstract
Italy still appears far from credibly and effectively confronting the challenges arising from automation and the spread of artificial intelligence, showing itself unable to ensure greater competitiveness to the production system and to promote the creation of new jobs, thus benefiting, and not just facing disadvantages, from technological innovation.
