Abstract
This editorial focuses on the urgent challenges shaping the road to 2030, moving beyond futuristic clichés to address inequality, climate change, demographic shifts, and technological unemployment. Framed by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and Italy’s engagement through Alleanza Italiana per lo Sviluppo Sostenibile,there is a need for concrete national strategies to improve quality of life. Building a sustainable and inclusive Italy by 2030 requires broad democratic involvement.
