Abstract
In 2016, a new member joined the array of nations: the Space Kingdom of Asgardia. Although the name may evoke amusement, the Kingdom of Asgardia could be considered the first non-territorial government inspired by panarchic ideals: an ideology, panarchy, born in the 19th century and almost unknown, but today, in the era of the crisis of nation-states, enjoying renewed popularity.
