Abstract

In European political discourses, there is a growing emphasis on the urgency of taking action in the economic sphere, lest the social protections characteristic of the "European model" be lost. The same visions of the future are marked by features related to the contraction of the temporal dimension. Among the outcomes of this process is the primacy of innovation over basic research, in favor of an industrialization of techno-scientific knowledge.
