Abstract

The use of the natural/unnatural binary predominates in everyday discursive practices, shaping individual and collective decision-making. A critical re-examination of resorting to this "mythology of the natural" can be carried out starting from the position of the mother, called upon to exercise her "natural" maternal function according to "natural" indications that do not come from her, but from those who are capable, in her place, of prescribing to her what she should, "naturally," do.
